Winter Session

September-June

Our Winter Session prepares the child with

a basic understanding of early concepts; with topics chosen to

engage children’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder.

Children approach learning as problem solvers and investigators;

they learn best when they are exploring subjects that interest

them. Our emergent curriculum helps inspire children to

relate, explore, and expand their interests. It encourages the

children to take an active role in lesson planning. Through

documentation, dialoguing, and experience books we are able

to provide an authentic assessment of each child, which

demonstrates the skills and concepts they have learned.

Enhancing our educational curriculum is introduction to Basic Piano

and Music Together®. These unique programs are designed to

nurture your child’s music competency. Our literature program

includes stories, poems, rhymes and drama. Our art program

inspires the child, nurturing their creativity and self expression

through medias such as clay, wire, paints, and pastels.

Our Before / After school program is available to school age children.

It is designed as an extension of their school day offering homework

time and recreational activities while giving the parent piece of mind.
